Troy Kirby launched a career in entertainment at the age of 10, dancing professionally for MC Hammer and acting in Disney films.  His success at such a young age made Kirby one to watch. By age 19, Kirby began choreographing for boy bands B2K and IMX.  His guidance and leadership have propelled many to international stardom with a legion of young fans mimicking Kirby’s dance moves. Troy Kirby’s high-profile roster includes Pharrell Williams, Jay-Z,  Missy Elliott, and Gwen Stefani; the last two of which he’s won an MVPA Best Choreography award for “Lose Control” and MTV Award for Best Choreography for “Holla Back Girl”.  Under the wing of Director of Choreography Hi-Hat, Troy Kirby has worked as Choreographer for Rihanna, Shakira and Justin Bieber.  He has also flexed his creative abilities on films such as, Step Up 2 & Step Up 3.

Kirby has also worked on NBC’s three time Emmy Award Winning show “The Voice” where he searved as an Associate Performance Producer. His position at “The Voice”  transitioned Kirby into a Creative Director/Production Designer.  In this role on “The Voice”, he was able to combine both elements of his abilities as a choreographer and his burgeoning talents as a visionary.  More recently, Kirby has worked alongside Dr. Dre and well-known director Paul Hunter on an Apple TV Film, “Vital Signs”. As Kirby continues to blaze a more than impressive path through his creative endeavors, the best is yet to come.
