Bio

Aaron Turner hails from Las Vegas, Nevada. He graduated from the University of Southern Nevada with a B. A. in Business Music Management. Aaron’s career in dance began in Las Vegas when he was 10 years old. He studied Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical and excelled in both Tap and Hip-Hop styles. He studied at the Bunker Dance Center in Las Vegas, the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA) and the Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts. He has continued to share his knowledge with others by teaching both Tap and Hip-Hop at conventions and workshops across the country.

Aaron’s dance intensives include notable conventions such as The Slide Tap Experience, Tremaine, LA Dance Magic, Dance Educators of America and the American Dance Festival. His talents have been seen in dance and theater alike as he was the youngest performer to act in the Tulane Summer Lyric presentation of “West Side Story.” Aaron has performed in his father’s show’s in both Las Vegas and New Orleans, The Gladys’ Knight Show, Slide, Off B’Way, and Stomp Out Loud, Las Vegas.

Most recently, Aaron achieved notoriety as the first “tap dancer” to make it to the Top !0 of the hit television show “So You Think You Can Dance” eventually becoming a Finalist on Season 10. Has most recently completed the tour of 46 cities in the US and Canada. Having a great love of all art forms, Aaron works in various Las Vegas nightclubs as a DJ and does music production and song writing in his own studio.
